Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for the position of Senior Coordinator of Development Operations, Donor Relations and Stewardship.


Working under general direction, the Senior Coordinator of Development Operations, Donor Relations and Stewardship will direct, manage and oversee all internal multi-faceted development operations within the college development office and manage a comprehensive stewardship and donor relations program for the college and its $300 million endowment. In partnership with the Associate Dean for Development, the senior coordinator will work collegially with university alumni and donor relations, the Case Alumni Association, University Marketing and Communications and the college’s marketing and communications team to manage events, publications and programs for CAS advancement initiatives and manage donor relations efforts encompassing an international pool of donors. The senior coordinator works closely with the dean of the college, associate deans, managers and all directors to assist with all of their fundraising activities including research, cultivation, follow-up, and stewardship for annual giving and major gift fundraising. The senior coordinator will plan stewardship activities and events for the department and execute stewardship activities to recognize and engage college alumni, donors, and friends to encourage their financial support.



Experience: 3 or more years of experience in a development or administrative office, preferably development, with progressively increasing responsibilities, particularly in relationship building. Program and systems development and operational experience.


Education/Licensing: Bachelor’s degree required. Continued education in the area of development or non-profit management highly desired. Higher education experience preferred.
