Cleveland State University is seeking applications for their next Director, Advancement Services.

The Director provides collaborative leadership and direction for Cleveland State University’s advancement services program. Provides direct oversight for the offices of prospect research, gift processing and database management. Ensures the creation and maintenance of a scalable suite of prospect research services and products. Oversees the timely and accurate processing of philanthropic gifts and grants. Manages assigned personnel. Contributes broadly to all aspects of the fulfillment of the University’s mission and growth. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Seven years experience providing information service delivery to development, alumni relations, and communication and media relations. Competence in developing and implementing prospect management services, management information tools, data mining, and data modeling.

Preferred Qualifications: Progressively responsible experience in information technology or information services at a large, multi-unit organization. Experience with major system conversions of development software. Experience with Millennium systems database. Possesses the ability to excel within a large, comprehensive, and dynamic development department.
