Understanding Social Enterprise and Other Things: What They Mean for the Future of Fundraising
It seems that we as executives, educators and research professionals do a good job teaching fundraising professionals the basics at the early part of their careers.
We often fall short as people advance in the field, relying mostly on the professions more senior executives to share their knowledge they have learned from experience.
Seasoned fundraisers are looking for new ways to raise “forever dollars” and NOT “stop gap dollars”. This session will open the discussion of Social Enterprise and how to make fundraising more effective by looking at new approaches and tools that the academic sector have to offer.
We will touch on the concepts that cross the boundaries between fundraising as we know it and the challenge for the future. Learn about the future of true sustainability and making your fundraising more effective.

During the Annual Meeting, we will also be holding a food drive. We hope everyone in attendance will bring a food item to donate to The Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The most needed items include Tuna fish, peanut butter, beef stew, cereal, pasta and toiletry products. Monetary donations are also appreciated. Every $1 donated helps provide enough food for four meals.
Cost to Attend:
AFP Member $35 per person
Non-Member $50 per person
