Giving USA's study of the 2017 data highlights the trends in philanthropic giving nationwide. It is conducted by the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University for the Giving Institute, an association of leading consultants to nonprofits based in Glenview, IL. Giving USA provides information to help nonprofit organizations learn more about and understand factors that affect fundraising success. Furthermore, the study contributes to the historical record about charitable giving in the United States. Public release of the study throughout the US is scheduled for early June 2018.
