Beyond Just Fundraising: The Impact of AFP In Philanthropy, the Workplace and the World
AFP was created to serve the fundraising profession, and it remains dedicated to providing the best fundraising education, training, research and networking in the world. But as the largest community of fundraisers across the globe, AFP must stand for more than just training.
We must serve as a champion for members in their workplaces—addressing issues like harassment, gender equity and creating a culture of philanthropy—and as an advocate for the profession in Congress and in the public, spotlighting the impact fundraising creates on communities everywhere.
Mike Geiger, MBA, CPA, the president and CEO of AFP, will talk about the future of AFP and its growing role in all aspects of society, and his vision for the association. Fundraising trends, the new tax laws, and new AFP initiatives will all be discussed, with time for Q&A!
