The Database and Donor Services Manager is an important contributor to crafting a positive donor experience. S/he will manage and maintain the ongoing use of the organization’s Raiser’s
Edge database, work to improve quality of data and usage of Raiser’s Edge and implement a robust Prospect Research initiative. The position will focus specifically on the daily management
and hygiene of the Beaumont School database, providing reports from constituent data, management of gift entry and donor acknowledgements and other constituent correspondence, and close coordination and cooperation with the development team. The
position will also work with the Advancement staff to perform Prospect Research on potential donors. Additionally, the position assists in donor communication, stewardship, event support and administrative tasks as needed.

Status: Exempt, full‐time, year‐round
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years professional experience required
o Must be proficient in Raisers Edge. Experience in a non‐profit highly desirable.
o Excellent Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and mail
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including effective time management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and follow assignments through to completion
Extremely detail oriented and resourceful; must produce polished and highly accurate work
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Self‐motivated and service‐oriented
Demonstrated abilities: planning, time management, follow through and meeting multiple deadlines
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Work respectfully across all management units and donor constituencies
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Provide database administration to assure that the Raiser’s Edge database supports the transactional and informational needs of Beaumont School
Assists in developing Raiser’s Edge‐based strategies to increase donor engagement, stewardship, fundraising revenues, and communications efforts for the School
Develop and implement procedures for producing and maintaining accurate Prospect Research
Proactively supply prospects who make positive, significant changes in giving to the Director of Advancement
Provide prospect research of donors, as requested, by members of the Advancement Team
Manage and maintain pertinent contact information Raiser’s Edge database
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual scheduled clean‐up and maintenance of the database, including data appends
Implement a system of reporting and coordination of other departments to ensure the most current information is contained in the system
Provide database administration support; create account logins, data import and data design
Design and produce Raiser’s Edge reports, queries and exports as needed
Maintain quality control over all entries in Raiser’s Edge including coding structure, duplicate records, typos, inconsistencies, etc.
Develop, document, and implement procedures to guide accurate data entry, gift processing, pledge management, acknowledgements, and reporting
Adhere to the policies and procedures to protect sensitive donor information
Collaborate with other departments to perform data imports/exports
Generate profiles on prospects
Assist in the generation of mailing lists for direct mail appeals and campaigns
When necessary, communicate directly with donors to confirm and update donor information
Provide training to new and existing staff on Raiser’s Edge and empower the team to use the system appropriately based on job function
Develop and maintain a basic procedures manual for Raiser’s Edge use
Generate Board reports and updates
Administrative support as needed
Assist with data presentation and analyses
Stay abreast of best practices and strategies using Raiser’s Edge
Assist with event preparation and implementation
Support tasks: copies, phone, email, attend meetings

Work is primarily, but not exclusively, in a climate‐controlled with minimal safety/health hazard potential or work hazards; however, there are sometimes stressful conditions. Working conditions will require working in front of a computer for several hours. Occasionally working outside, standard working days or hours is required. Frequent in‐person meetings for individuals or groups, tele‐meetings, and phone calls. Travel to meetings with alumnae. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet; however, variations in noise level may occur during school announcements or when the employee attends school functions.
