JFSA Cleveland seeks an enthusiastic, creative and resourceful individual to join our team of highly motivated marketing and development professionals. The successful candidate provides professional and administrative support to the Vice President of Marketing and Development and works closely with senior management, board leadership, donors and community leaders.


Participates in the overall planning, implementation, and evaluation of all agency fundraising campaigns; has primary responsibility for leading and conducting annual employee fundraising campaigns. Manages and tracks all campaign mailings.
Manages the Raiser’s Edge donor database. Performs all data entry; works closely with Finance department to ensure proper coding of donor gifts; works with program staff to report and process in-kind donations; prepares management reports (month-end, grant face sheets);
Prepares donor acknowledgement and notification letters; prepares monthly donor invoices.
Responds to donor requests and community inquiries in a timely manner.
Maintains well-organized and updated files. Maintains confidentiality of all donor files.

Assists with content creation for external communications; monitors agency social media channels and responds as directed; updates agency websites as directed.
Assists in planning and producing agency/program video segments as needed, including research, scripting, taping, editing, and post-production activities. Manages external resources as appropriate.
Participates in planning and coordination of special events; tracks RSVPs, processes payments; works with vendors as assigned.
Manages inventory of business identity, marketing collateral, tradeshow materials, and promotional items; conducts regular inventory updates; maintains photo and collateral archives, photo release forms and PR files.
Assists in negotiating pricing and contracts with marketing suppliers, including printers, media outlets, photographers, and other suppliers.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field of study.

At least 5 years of experience in fundraising and/or marketing or related field.
3-5 years direct experience with Raiser’s Edge software or other donor database software required.
1-2 years customer service experience a plus
Digital marketing experience and website administration experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent computer skills: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; Adobe Creative Suite desired.
Excellent writing skills.
General knowledge of social media platforms required.
Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
Must work effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the agency and in a team setting.
Must handle a wide range of projects and work independently under pressure.
Knowledge of Jewish community a plus.

Full or part-time opportunity. Must be able to work occasional evenings. Relocation assistance not available.
