The College of Communication and Information (CCI) at Kent State University (KSU), located in Kent, Ohio, invites applications for Project Coordinator, Alumni Communication and Engagement.  This position will report to the Director, Philanthropy in the CCI Dean’s Office.

 

This newly created position will execute communication and marketing plans, focusing on the CCI Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Strategic Plan.  As a valued CCI team member, essential job responsibilities include planning, data collection and management of CCI alumni engagement efforts. This person will work collaboratively with diverse audiences to help create a robust and meaningful philanthropy and alumni engagement program.

 

Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study. Minimum two years’ professional experience in project coordination and/or project management and strategic communication or marketing.

Knowledge Of: Desktop software (i.e., Microsoft Office products); Project Management processes and systems

Skill In: Written and interpersonal communication; creative content creation; Organizing information and projects; Implementing projects and assessment of program initiatives

Ability To: Work with diverse constituencies (alumni, donors, friends); Communicate effectively; Independently manage multiple projects and functions and prioritize workflow
