Director of Development

The Salvation Army of Summit County’s mission is to alleviate the effects of poverty and break its cycle by meeting human needs in Jesus’ name while sharing God’s message of love. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an annual advancement plan including major donors, corp/org foundations, sponsorship pkgs, special events; Manage a portfolio of 75-100 major gift ($2500+) donors and prospects; Oversight of Donor/Grants Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator; Coordinate PR activities & special events. Qualifications: BA with min. 7 yrs progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, inc. strong track record of success with major gift acquisition.
